So today I had a conversation with a guy about pokemon. It started out being about magikarp (sadly though he did not understand the awesome power that is gyaradose who cares about a 4x weakness to electricity they still kick butt) and then he starts talking about how much lamer the newer gens are getting to be. Although some of his issues with the newer gen  pokemon were kinda weird since gen 1 had the same ‘issues’. For example apparently the newest bird is referred to as the “Japanese Robin Pokemon” to which he complained about neither Japan nor robins existing in the pokemon world. I simply pointed out that a lot of pokemon have RW animal names in their pokedex entries and in one of gastly’s old entries it mention gastly being able to make an indian elephant pass out with its gas. 

I ended up winning the silly argument.

I feel like I know a bunch of random pokemon facts :U

it’s so wonderful when you see unconventional monster boys in relationships with human ladies, too. none of this frilly vampire or werewolf crap; I’m talkin’ skeletons, fish men, gargoyles, rock people, etc. THAT’S the good stuff. ♥
